A number of Dale fans are walking to Accrington Stanley on Saturday 16th March to help raise funds for the 5-a-side Pitch Appeal. It’s sixteen miles up and down the hills but all funds go towards a great cause.
Replacing the 5-a-side pitch will cost around £70,000. Thankfully, a grant has been obtained that will pay 60% towards it, but that still leaves a shortfall of approximately £28,000 that the Dale Trust are looking to raise funds towards during the 2018-19 season.
