Minutes of meeting: 5^th June 2024

Minutes from last meeting approved

1.BOGS

Bogs reps were invited to discuss the fund raiser to be held at the Empire, Rochdale from 2pm on Sunday 16^th June.

Following require collecting from club:

GB to liaise with MK re: collecting the above

GB to catalogue all auction items. May have to consider bundles for auction, eg, Hendo memorabilia etc

Volunteers for the Trust desk required for some of the day (expected 2 – 6pm)

Agreed to buy a card reader – MK to speak with MS to arrange

Publicity required, including Rochdale On-line (GB) and BBC Radio Manchester (SG)

Also discussed options re: remaining Squad Builder funds, including player accommodation funding,

May be some issues with duplicated Paypal payments

1,400 lapsed members to be contacted. Include the Golden Share statement going to the Trust.

Agreed to hold it on Friday 26^th July at the Dale Bar (CS)

George Delves had mentioned the former to MK and the latter had been mentioned at the Directors meeting on Monday

Meeting has now been set up between Cameron Ogden and Hornets Chair Andy Mazey. GB to inform Hornets Trust

Traditionally, we have always issued a monthly newsletter and should return to doing so. We can write up an update for circulating, perhaps after the fundraiser on 16^th June
Euros fantasy football comp set up and needs circulating (BM, if possible)
Joe Thompson had spoken to MK to offer his thanks for the funds raised via the shirt auction
