Update 14 March:
Next Saturday’s event has been called off because of the coronavirus crisis – attendees notified and refunds underway via Paypal. The Exiles will meet up again in due course. Keep safe one and all.
All places now filled for the home match against Burton Albion on 21 March 2020. Given our fluctuating form, it’s likely to be an important fixture in Dale’s campaign to stay in League One. Wouldn’t we all like to see the Exiles unbeaten home run continue? If you have missed out, please email Ian Goodwin the Exiles co-ordinator on exiles@daletrust.co.uk and he will keep a waiting list if there are drop outs.
The day will follow the usual tried and trusted format centred around the club’s box and buffet hospitality offering. Directors, members of the playing and coaching team will drop in and we will be scheduling a stadium tour.
We have a confirmed guest of honour, Willie Burns, a cultured defender who played over seventy games for Dale 1989-91 and we are hoping that Dave Seddon will be able to join us. Dave was a pro with Rochdale in the early 1970s and he was head and shoulders above all my contemporaries on local football pitches. Dave’s story is one that shows how hard it to make it as a professional footballer! I do hope he is well enough to travel on 21 March to join us.
We are having to charge more than previous years to reflect the price increase in the club’s hospitality packages but we are still getting a generous £20 reduction on the usual price:
- Adult Non-Season Ticket Holders £45
- Adult Season Ticket Holders £25
- Junior Non-Season Ticket Holders £20
- Junior Season Ticket Holders £15
There are no reductions for seniors in line with the club’s pricing for hospitality packages.
The day will start around 1.00pm and all 40 places are now filled. Further details will be sent to those attending nearer the time. All guests must be Trust members. Any questions please email the Trust’s Exiles Coordinator Ian Goodwin at exiles@daletrust.co.uk.
