There will be a Fans Forum held at Spotland as a curtain raiser to the new season held in the main lounge at Spotland on Tuesday 30th July at 8pm.
Manager Keith Hill will be on the table as well as members of the coaching staff and representatives from the club’s Board of Directors, and they will be on hand to answer any questions from supporters. Admission is free of charge to all supporters and the bar will be open.
Before the Forum, the Trust will be hosting an informal meeting to discuss possible projects that can be undertaken with the remainder of the “Bowlee fund”.
Supporters raised a significant amount of funds for the Trust with a view to a proposed training facility for the club at Bowlee, but once that was deemed unsuitable by the club, the attention was turned towards the Spotland pitch, and we were delighted to announce earlier this year that we had purchased a set of pitch covers for the club.
However, this left a surplus of funds and the Trust are keen to pursue a new project on behalf of the club. Some suggestions have already been made and the Trust will be happy to discuss this at the meeting. However, we want to give members as much opportunity to have their say. If any Trust member is unable to attend the meeting, we would be happy to hear your thoughts via email at mailbox@daletrust.com. Ultimately, Trust members will be given the opportunity to vote on what project they want the Trust to pursue.
The Trust meeting will commence at 7:30pm.
