Following our statement yesterday regarding issues that arose at the Spennymoor game, you will be aware that we contacted the club with haste and wrote to Andy Duff and Jamie Willoughby.
We have had positive correspondence this morning from both, and we thank them for their courtesy and quick response.
We understand that the club will be going through a full internal debrief today (this is usual after a home game) the Saturday game and the incidents that arose will be part of that debrief and it is not unreasonable to assume, from our dialogue with the club, that this could take some time, the club have issued a statement yesterday, you can read it HERE.
The Trust officials and Trust CAB members remain in contact with club officials, but until there is any substance to report, we will wait until the club evaluates protocols and talks to relevant agencies, and we can have then, further discussions.
In the meantime, we go again tomorrow, away at Sutton, the game being live feed to the Ratcliffe. Its time for us all to come together and unite and hope that our ambitions for the season can be achieved, whatever people may feel, it is time to get behind the team and shout (for those that travel) and support the lads, for those back at the COA, lets send positive vibes to the team by yelling as much as we can at the telly!
