Dale’s 1-0 win at Solihull Moors on Tuesday night earned us a fourth-place finish in the Vanarama National League.

That secures a home tie in the Eliminator round of the playoffs, which will take place at the Crown Oil Arena on Thursday 15h May.

Our opponents will be decided on the final day of the season this coming Bank Holiday Monday, with three potential teams travelling to face Jimmy McNulty’s men.

FC Halifax Town, who currently sit in sixth, could drop to seventh if they lose away to Wealdstone, who themselves need a win if they are to have hopes of avoiding relegation.

However, for the Shaymen to finish seventh, they need to lose and Southend United will need to beat Gateshead, in what is set to be a showdown at the Gateshead International Stadium.

The Heed must win if they are to finish in the playoffs, whilst Southend only need a point to guarantee their involvement.

Ticket details for our playoff tie, whoever it may be against, will be announced in due course.

The winner of the tie will go on to face Forest Green Rovers away from home in the semi-final on
