Jay Bird. Fans March Player of The Month,
Following the resounding win against Eastleigh on Saturday, the presentation of the award to the Player of the Month for March took place in the 1907 Lounge.
Jay Bird deservingly won by a considerable margin for his outstanding contribution since arriving on loan from Exeter at the end of the season.
As always, voting to choose the deserving winning player is open to everyone, and from the total, those votes contributed by Trust members are then entered into a draw, and the lucky member drawn is then invited to present the award at a later date during the post-match presentations held in the 1907 Lounge.
The lucky member making the presentation on Saturday was Pauline Rowe, an ardent main stand fan. Unfortunately, due to his injury, Jay was unable to attend, and the Man of the Match for the day, Tarryn Allarakhia, stepped in to accept the award on Jay’s behalf.
The photo shows Pauline presenting the award, a copy of which, when signed by Jay, will be forwarded to Pauline as a memento of the day.
If you would like to be included in the draw to be the person who presents the winning player with his award in the future, all that’s required is – firstly, be a Dale Trust Member (join now HERE if you’re not already one). Secondly, just vote for the Player of the Month each month, and, who knows, you may be the one drawn to make the presentation in the future.
Good luck
Murray
