We’re excited to share that the Trust has been asked to arrange a coach to Braintree FC for our final league game of the season on May 5th! This match holds special significance as it will also be Ian Henderson’s last scheduled league fixture of his remarkable career—a truly historic moment for all of us.
The 5th is a bank holiday, so we hope for some typical May weather, which has been sunny for the last five years.
Many have expressed a desire to be present when Ian completes the session’s main fixtures. And that’s the reason for the announcement.
The playoffs present a fascinating challenge! While Ian is set to retire from scheduled football, we’re hopeful we might still get to see him in action during these exciting final match games that will determine who advances out of the league.
Expressions of interest must be accompanied by a £5.00 deposit, which can be verified later during the booking process.
