The Trust reps attended, along with other CAB colleagues, the second meeting of the club CAB. 14/4/2025
A quick update for members and fans from the Trust representatives. These notes are informal and intended to guide on some of tonight’s topics. We will invite comment after the full minutes are published.
It was a pleasure to hear so many passionate Dale fans express their views and some concerns. The meeting, facilitated by Jamie Willoughby with ground operational manager Chris Garland, RAFC MD Andy Duff and COO George Delves, was supplemented by GMP rep Rob Smith.
The full official minutes will be published later in the week, representatives covered such areas of
- Ground safety with conversations instigated from the Spennymoor Match.
- Violence coupled with pitch invasions. Solutions and Penalties
- Fan seating and stewarding standards
- Family Stand Use.
- Potential management of large games in the future
- How to get the best effect from our “Youth and Adult drummers and Ground Singers” The noise created has a positive effect.
These are just some topics which were covered tonight; as we report above, the official minutes will follow soon.
The Trust reps were all in agreement that the participation from the diverse groups represented went a long way to” bottom out” topics discussed and that the meeting realised and met our expectations from such a group. This can only be to the benefit of all, and we look forward to continuing our association with the group and working alongside dedicated “Daleys”
