As we approach our annual Exiles Day on 29 March for the home match against Aldershot (and the play off push!), Ian Goodwin has been talking to previous attendees and has come up with the full record on that remarkable run of results when the Exiles are in town. By any stretch of imagination, it’s a super story especially when you look at some of the teams we have faced. Ipswich, Brighton, Sheffield United, Portsmouth. It may be tempting fate – records are made to be broken – but let’s hope that Aldershot who were our opponents in 2013 co-operate fully in preserving that record. It might be a struggle this time round without George Donnelly leading the line!
