- The Inaugural meeting of the new club CAB with its now-selected members took place this week, the Trust being represented this time by its two board directors, interim Trust vice chair Dave Earnshaw and travel Director Emma Loynd standing in for Trust Chair Bob M who was away.
The meeting was mainly to introduce the concept to members, discuss future working protocols and establish areas for future discussion.
At this stage, we are not publishing full details as these will come from the club via official minutes taken but below is a quick summary from Dave from the meeting. We will of course update in a more comprehensive manner on future meetings.
Here is our interim report.
The first CAB meeting was held Monday 17th March and what a positive and enthusiastic start it was a real pleasure to be part of it.
It was the first meeting and what shone through was that the club have picked a good broad range of supporters with a wealth of experience to offer moving forward which can only bode well for the future.
It was a very positive start and most definitely something that can be built on.
Just a quick summary from the CAB meeting tonight.
1) Club reps discussed the financial situation and budget forecasts for next season 2025/26.
2) Season ticket and ticket prices for next season will be announced in the coming weeks
3) The club are looking for issues around the ground and possible quick wins to make changes that could improve fans’ match day experiences.
5) A big push on the Spennymoor game and how to get the atmosphere and numbers up
6) kits for next season various samples shown in readiness for being picked
7) It is likely that some future meetings and meet ups will feature focus group work.
So, if you have day to day issues, ideas or solutions for consideration then let us know and we will forward them to the club for consideration at the CAB, or if more pressing we will get them answered as soon as we can in the normal Trust way.
