The meeting was held on Monday 17th February 2025.
As part of the initial discussions to identify potential fundraising for projects on behalf of the club, a follow-up meeting on the 8th of January 2025 took place to further identify potential projects and during the meeting, the club identified 4 areas with what they believe could have the potential to benefit the club these being
1) RAFC Community Trust which could benefit such in various areas, for example, it has the walking football teams plus other possible ongoing projects
2) Youth Development.
3) The club’s female football teams
Another and number 4 in the list is the one that would look to support the already ongoing “Let’s get Dale bouncing and boost the ground atmosphere ” so number 4 is…
4) Looking to raise funds to support flags, and banners to help engage fans across all ages who attend on match days.
Early indications from our BOGS representative and the BOGS team would be to support option 4 and possibly identify the start of next season as the launch. This would be to boost fan experience, home attendance and positive support for our first team. Support for options 1-3 would be separately in partnership with the Club & Community Trust and Daletrust
Further developments will be reported as soon as information becomes available. It is envisaged that the Trust will survey its members over the next few days about the four areas. We will put this out on the Trust website in the coming days.
