The presentation of the January Player of the Month Award was made on Saturday in the 1907 Lounge after the game against Ebbsfleet. The winner was Leon Ayinde, currently on loan from Ipswich, who has certainly impressed with the performances he’s made and fully deserved this recognition.
Voting is open to all, and from the votes cast, a draw is made from those Trust members taking part to decide who will present the award to the winner.
The lucky member drawn this time was Paul Whittaker and the photo shows Paul and his grandson Hiram presenting Leon with his award, a signed copy of which was retained by them to mark the occasion.
All that’s required to be included in the draw to make the presentation is to be a member of the Trust. If not already a member, why not join to be included, and vote each month? Who knows, you could be the lucky one making the presentation in the future.
