We recently posted on our website some potential areas for future Trust fundraising initiatives, you can see them HERE.
These topics would, if chosen, replace the now closed-down Squad Builder and Fighting Fund, details of which we include HERE especially as it also asks for anyone with direct debits for the Squad Builder and Fighting Fund to cancel them.
Our colleagues and fellow fans, the BOGS group who have been so invaluably involved with the previous fund initiatives have given us an idea of what they prefer and now it is time for the Trust membership to have their say and indicate which way you would like us to go.

The four topics have a vagueness about them but once we know which way you want us to go, we will then flesh out the topic with specifics and detailed ideas, all of which we will bring back for further consideration.
The trust has always tried to be transparent and decisions on matters like this are always given to the membership to decide.
With that in mind, we have a simple four-item survey which we hope you will participate in, your input will be invaluable as it will help form the fundraising initiatives for the next year or so.
To recap and using text from our web post the four topics are
1) RAFC Community Trust which could benefit such in various areas, for example, it has the walking football teams plus other possible ongoing projects
2) Youth Development.
3) The club’s female football teams
Another and number 4 in the list is the one that would look to support the already ongoing “Let’s get Dale bouncing and boost the ground atmosphere” so number 4 is…
4) Looking to raise funds to support flags, and banners to help engage fans across all ages who attend on match days.
Once we have feedback as stated above, we will flesh out more details and bring it back to the membership for further guidance on what you want the Trust to do.

Timescale.
We are looking to start whatever initiative is chosen near the beginning of next season 2025/25, however, if required and it is to the chosen scheme’s benefit, we may advance that start date.
The enclosed survey link will be open for the next week or so, and although it may not seem that urgent given the projected start date, the time needed to formulate specific areas to be targeted for fund support could take some weeks as identifying the best that benefits the club and that gives you something to fully get behind needs time to germinate and flourish.
We will keep all members fully updated as we go through the process.
