From the Trust board perspective we welcome the changes, they give a clear perspective to who we deal with on your behalf.
Change is often seen as a negative thing, but we think these changes play to the ever-increasing strengths of existing personnel and with Chris Garland joining the club to lead, direct and support the Crown Oil Arena operations departments then it just strengthens our contacts and effectiveness on your behalf. We have not met Chris yet, but we will.
Overall, these changes strengthen the club, and that’s our number one priority. They strengthen the infrastructure we work with; it focuses and allows the Trust directors who are leading Trust initiatives freedom to work with the people that matter, which, ultimately, we hope is for the benefit of members and the wider fan base as a whole.
Finally, it has to be accepted that the increased staffing and areas of operation reflect on how much work those who got us through post-Covid and up to the new era must have put in, we have a club for the Ogdens to build on, we have to say thank you to those that helped us survive and get to this point!
