As members will be aware, the Trust has been in talks with the club over many recent weeks regarding several aspects of interest and concern for members and fans alike. Recently, in our January Newsletter, on 3rd January, we clarified one point with this quote regarding the pitch in general: ” The matter of the pitch and what can be done to preserve and nurture it for games is already subject to recent and ongoing discussions between the Club and the Trust, which started before the postponements.”
With today’s statement, we thank the club for giving a clear perspective on this issue and what is being done to preserve football this season at the COA.
The Trust along with colleagues from the BOGS group continue meetings with the club and will update members when possible on this issue (Pitch) and on other matters raised where we feel we can help and support the club in moving forward.
