Our legend number 40 turns 40!
On Friday 24th January, Ian Henderson turns 40 years young.
We would like to ask all our young Dale fans 18 or under, to help create a scrapbook with lots of best wishes, photos and football memories inside.
We are going to run a competition alongside this to design the front cover. The lucky winner will then have the choice to either draw their image on the front cover or we can print the design off and stick it on.
There will be varying methods of how to submit a message to be put into the scrapbook. Here are the following ways:
- Handwriting a message at the Club shop (Wed-Sat) to be stuck in the scrapbook.
- Handwriting a message at the Dale Trust Desk, located in the Dale Bar on home match days, to be stuck in the scrapbook.
- Handwriting a message and/or drawing an image in Desmond’s Den on match days, to be stuck in the scrapbook.
- Email to youthmatters@daletrust.co.uk and they will be printed onto a coloured card to be stuck in the scrapbook.
For handwritten messages, the deadline is the end of the game on Tuesday 21st January. These will be collected from the Club Shop after the match.
Email messages will be accepted until 8 pm on Thursday 23rd January.
Submissions for the front-page designs will close at 8 pm on Saturday 18th January so the designs can then be drawn/ printed in time to be added to the scrapbook.
This will be presented to Hendo by the winning artist and myself on Saturday 25th of January at the home game against Yeovil.
