The statement reads

”Rochdale AFC and Oldham Athletic have issued a joint message ahead of Saturday’s match at the Crown Oil Arena.

The allocation of away tickets for the fixture has sold out. Visiting supporters are advised not to purchase tickets in any of the home stands.

It is a term of any ticket purchased from Rochdale that the club has the right to cancel a ticket bought by a visiting supporter within the home areas without issuing a refund.

The two clubs will work in partnership with Greater Manchester Police to implement these terms and ground safety regulations on the day of the fixture.

Supporters must not purchase tickets in the incorrect stands and any supporters found to have done so will have their ticket cancelled without a refund.

Supporters are also reminded that the use of pyrotechnics and encroachment onto the playing surface are criminal offences at a football match.

It is illegal to be in possession of a pyrotechnic or to attempt to bring a pyrotechnic device into a stadium. Doing so will result in arrest and a football banning order issued.

Both clubs want a safe and enjoyable experience for all supporters on Saturday.”
