With the words USE IT OR LOSE IT very much in mind, we just wanted to remind fans that the booking for the Trust coach to Barnet on Saturday 26th October, supported by the generosity of the Ogden Family in partly subsidising the cost, is now open. To enable the Trust to ensure the provision of the coach, based on the numbers travelling, it’s vital that those wishing to confirm their place book NOW!!, by emailing travel@daletrust.co.uk in the usual way.

The Trust Desk is in operation on Saturday for our home game against Southend and on the following Tuesday for our home game against Halifax Town, cash and card payments can be taken on both days, dependent on seat availability, so we suggest you don’t wait till then – book NOW!!
For those who are unaware of the service provided by the Trust, it’s worth a reminder as to the background of how the service came about :
The coach travel, organised by the Trust is an initiative which was proposed by the Ogden Family, to assist fans in attending away games, involving, in many cases, considerable distances in meeting the requirements of the National League fixtures. By applying the generous subsidy provided by the Ogden Family, the Trust is able to reduce the cost of hiring coaches, and able to provide fans, in many cases, an attractive alternative to the various other travel options available.
The Trust believes strongly in the provision of coach travel for fans, and is keen to provide the service, which fans have continually requested, since the Club were unable to provide it. However, for this service to continue, the Trust requires the support of sufficient numbers wishing to utilise it to make it viable, hence our plea “USE IT OR LOSE IT”
We believe the pricing is competitive and reasonable. The service provides luxury coaches, has stewards aboard and is ideal for all (including families) who want to support DALE as they target the top spot.
However, continued coach travel is only guaranteed when sufficient number of bookings are received to cover the cost pf hiring coaches, to cover the additional cost to the welcome subsidy received from the Ogden Family. The Trust cannot utilise Trust funds to cover any shortfall incurred, as it is intended for the benefit of all fans, not restricted to Trust members only.
So, back to our away game at Barnet – to ensure this specific trip can be provided, it is essential you contact Emma NOW!! on travel@daletrust.co.uk to confirm your booking. Also, please spread the word to encourage others to use the service, which will assist in creating sufficient numbers to make the service viable for this and other trips during the season.
