Message From The Trust Chair. George Brigham.
It is with a heavy heart that I have had to step down from the Trust board with immediate effect. This is purely for business reasons. I have tried to juggle work and trust duties over the past 9 months but the time is just not there for both to be given the full attention needed, especially the fan base that the Trust exists to represent.
Something has had to give and I simply cannot afford not to work.
Stepping away has been made that much easier knowing we have been involved in introducing the Ogden family as new owners of our club and I would hope that their financial support for away travel continues to be taken up by supporters this season.
Collegues on the Trust Board want to place on record our imense thanks to George for not only stepping in when Coll retired but for leading the Trust through the exciting, dynamic and stressfull time which has seen the incoming of the Ogdens. Sometimes simple thank you’s are not enough….He will be a hard act to follow.
