Join Hannah on the fifth “Dale Wall” panel!

More about Hannah later, meantime…

The fourth “Dale Wall” section featuring member’s and supporters’ plaques is now complete and will soon be affixed along with the others already in place.

The Trust owns two of the very first sets of plaques that were erected (see HERE) and since then we have gone on to support the initiative instigated by club director Tony Pockney, why? because it’s a very tangible way for members and fans alike to become part of the very fabric of the club, entrenching themselves in history for future generations to be able to see.

The Trust has published several photos of “Daleys” posing with their plaques, a recent example being Carole and John Osborne whose story we published last season (HERE). John was dead chuffed with their plaque because it was part of their Christmas present from his four grandchildren, an example of the “present” and the “future”.

The Dale Wall scheme has now progressed to four complete wall panels sold and a fifth is now under commission with over a third already reserved. Recently, Trust member Hannah Morrisey said: “Now that we know the club is secure, has a sound future and is here for my children we have decided to have a plaque commissioned, hopefully, my grandchildren will be able to see a little bit of my presence in their history!”

If you want to be part of the initiative and join Hannah and other members and fans including most of the Trust Board and get your plaque on the fifth panel then just follow the details below.

You can purchase your plaque, with your personalised message,

at funditnow.co.uk/thedalefanwall.

A regular plaque is priced at £80 and a large one at £150.

70% of those funds come straight to the Club, providing a great boost to funds.

The Trust has always had a policy of supporting local businesses by publishing the service offered, this though should not be taken as a recommendation as it is up to members and fans alike to make their own choice.

The Dale Wall initiative is however club-driven and fits in with the aims and ideals of the Trust, that is, the betterment of, and support for Rochdale AFC.

As in all things financial, we urge members and fans alike to purchase wisely and not overburden themselves financially, there will always be an opportunity in the future.
