Booking are coming through for this season’s Exiles’ Day against Maidenhead United on 23 March 2024 but we still have places available. Jason Peake and Mark Stuart – fan favourites from a year or two back – will be on hand as guests to make the day go with a swing.
The Exiles’ Day has been a standard fixture in the Dale calendar for many, many years. Even Covid couldn’t stop it as we held a virtual day for our out of town supporters. It is a brilliant day, year in, year out for our Exiled supporters who gather at the Crown Oil Arena to enjoy hospitality before a Dale game, with many a guest dropping in.
Not only that, Dale’s form on Exiles’ Day is probably enough to see us walk the League if it could be replicated over a full season. There’s no doubting that our Exiles bring the luck with them. Most importantly of all, the Exiles are a brilliant community and it’s great for them to catch up with each other.
This year’s prices are once again very reasonable (lower overall than 2022) thanks to another subsidy from the Trust. The Trust’s gesture recognises the many contributions made by Exiles to the Dale cause. We hope to see Exiles from all parts of the UK at this annual event. Who knows some from further afield may even join us – and they would be very welcome. As ever the only requirement is an Exile Trust membership. The programme is being finalised and Keith Hicks’ splendid work with the Former Players Association means that we have been able to secure quality guests for the event in Jason Peake and Mark Stuart. Places are limited to 40 so don’t delay, place your orders below today!
