Renew insurance to support the legal defence

Insurance renewal is one of the best ways of raising funds for the Trust, especially with all funds now going towards the legal defence against Morton House.

We are not asking you to go with a particular company, but most people these days using a comparison website before renewal, and that is all we are asking you to do. We know that people will renew their insurance at different times of the year, so all we are asking is that when it comes to the time that you renew your insurance, you do so via Easyfundraising first.

As we always say, you will not pay a single penny more for your insurance by going through Easyfundraising, but the retailer will make a donation back to the Trust for going down this route, and it is arguably one of the biggest donations that we can get as you can see from the details listed below.

Car Insurance – comparison websites

Gocompare – up to £18.50 donation

ComparetheMarket – up to £12.50 donation

Confused.com – up to £15 donation

Home Insurance – comparison websites

Gocompare – up to £17.50 donation

Comparethemarket – up to £10 donation

Confused.com – up to £12.50 donation

There are many other insurances that provide big donations back to the Trust whether that be pet, travel, life or even wedding insurance. There are also deals with individual companies if you’d prefer to avoid comparison websites.

When you consider that we’ll push ordering takeaways through JustEat which will bring in a few pence (obviously every little helps), it shows the worth of these donations, and when you consider how many different Dale fans will take out car insurance on an individual basis each year, it’s a potentially very lucrative way of helping to pay for the legal defence at no additional cost to yourself.

If you’ve never used it before, you need to register with Easyfundraising first, and then use that as your starting point to search for the comparison website. Historically, our partnership has brought in over £5,000 to the Trust that we have used to support the club and help with local causes.
