RAFC Community Trust is hosting an event celebrating the town’s sporting heritage in both Football and Rugby League on Wednesday evening. It is free to attend for all supporters.
From a Dale perspective, author Mark Hodkinson will be at the event. Mark recently published “The Overcoat Men” which detailed the way the Club was saved back in the 1980’s and his previous books involving Dale have included “Believe in the Sign“, “The Sun Also Rises” and “Life Sentence“.
Also appearing are Jim Stringer and Mark Wynn who published a book late last year “Triumph and Disaster” that celebrates the 150 years of Rochdale Hornets’ history.
Refreshments will be available and there will be a raffle taking place to raise funds towards our legal defence against Morton House.
It will take place in the Our Spot Community Hub (Studds Bar) from 7:30pm.
