A REMINDER IN CASE YOU HAVE FORGOTTEN
PROSTATE CANCER PSA TESTING DAY
To be held in the Study Centre on Willbutts Lane before Dale’s Sky Bet League Two fixture against Sutton United, on October 23rd, that’s this coming Saturday from 11am-2.30pm.
This will be the third time that the club has hosted this event in conjunction with the Barry Kilby Prostate Cancer Appeal (BKPCA).
This is an event that has simply saved men’s lives in the past and we hope will save even more in the future.
It’ll be held in the Study Centre on Willbutts Lane before Dale’s Sky Bet League Two fixture against Sutton United, on October 23rd, from 11am-2.30pm.
As the club’s official website says “We are encouraging all men to return for their 12-month test, along with those who have not had the test yet, to know your score. The test measures the amount of prostate-specific antigen (PSA) in your blood.” The PSA test is simple and only requires a small sample of blood, you can read more about the test on the Trust website HERE
This year, supporters will need to book in advance. You can do this online > PSA Testing Events @ BKPCA – The Barry Kilby Prostate Cancer Appeal (mypsatests.org.uk)
If any member is having trouble booking online or you are not sure how to actually do it then contact the Trusts Welfare team who will happily contact you and help you get a booking, to contact us, email us at questions@daletrust.co.uk or info@daletrust.co.uk
Those being tested will be asked for a donation of £10 on the day to go towards the cost of the test, which is £25.
