The new date for our rearranged virtual Exiles match is 5 April versus Ipswich Town. International call ups (how times have changed!) scuppered our plans for the match against fellow strugglers Swindon Town but we are going ahead on Easter Monday. Exiles have always liked a challenge and preserving our unbeaten home run this time is certainly going to be one. Anyone who signed up for the original date will be on our list and can I encourage others to join us?
Like everything else this year, it’s going to be different and we are hosting a watch along via Zoom. If you would like to join us please sign up below. For Season Card holders the event is free and for anyone else just pay £10 for an iFollow pass from the club Official website.
We intend to start at 2.00pm for a semi-structured get together. The event is being planned in collaboration with the club and Brian Barry Murphy will join us at 2.15pm. He assures us it won’t affect pre match preparations! Martin and Paul iFollow commentators hope to drop in and members of the Dale Trust Board and directors from the club will be around. We’ll watch the match, retaining (fingers crossed) that unbeaten Exiles home record. At 4.45pm we’ll choose our Dale man of the match.
One or two of you have already sent photos of you watching the Dale, so thank you. We’ll include those during the course of the afternoon and we’d welcome more photos to help create a virtual atmosphere. Send them to exiles@daletrust.co.uk
Full details in due course once we have road-tested the technology! Noddy guides available for those not familiar with all things technological and help will also be available on the day.
