The winner of the October Player of the Month is Matty Lund – no surprise really, for our top goal-scorer.
Lund won the award after an impressive month that saw him score goals against Fleetwood, Burton and Sunderland. He picked up just over 60% of the votes, with Alex Newby coming 2nd with 18% of the votes and Gavin Bazunu 3rd with 6%.
The Trust member drawn to present Matty with his award was Ryan Lockett, which, unfortunately, due to the Covid restrictions was not able to be arranged. However, Ryan was able to receive a framed signed copy of the plaque presented to Matty, and his top, also signed.
