The Trust are aware of a press release published on Thursday afternoon regarding investment into the football club following speculation on Wednesday regarding the sale of shares that belonged to Chris Dunphy, Bill Goodwin and Paul Hazlehurst.
It was suggested that Dan Altman – formerly of Swansea City – had purchased a shareholding of around 17% in the football club, having acquired the aforementioned shares. More details on Mr Altman can be found here.
Following this, we contacted the club on Wednesday evening and received a prompt response early on Thursday that we intend following up on.
On Thursday morning, we contacted Mr Altman enquiring about his interest in the football club. He provided us with a copy of his press release (listed below) and agreement for further conversations with the Trust.
Other conversations have also taken place on Thursday and will continue.
