“The Cem” is one of the most popular pre-match pubs with Dale supporters, being just a short walk from Spotland Stadium. It is featured in CAMRA with large selection of rale ales, and often away supporters will make a bee line for the pub, such is its reputation amongst supporters in the lower leagues.
Trust members will receive a 20p discount on selected drinks on a matchday between 12pm and 8pm, meaning the discount applies both before and after the match. This offer also applies to season ticket holders at Dale, and also to opposition supporters who have their season ticket with them. They will usually have “football specials” on food during matchdays.
Aside from matchdays, the Pub serves a range of food which gets highly rated on Tripadvisor. Their monthly Tapas night has proved to be very popular with bookings recommended. Each weekend will see a number of promotions on drinks. The pub has a facebook group that you can join here which carries details of drinks promotions and events.
The Trust will also hold its monthly committee meetings at the Cemetery and we are grateful to all the team at the pub for making this space available to us.
