For the first time since the 2009-10 season, the Dale Trust membership has passed the 500 barrier.
It’s been a key focus for the Trust in the past couple of seasons to grow the membership, with the ambition to take the membership past the 500 figure. In Trust circles, it’s suggested that a Trust is doing well membership wise if it can sign up 10% of a club’s home support. With now 525 signed up to the Dale Trust for the 2018-19 season, this accounts for approximately 15% of our club’s average home crowd.
2009-10 remains our record season in terms of members, where we had 603 members. Last season saw, 435 members so we’re already 90 ahead of last season, and we also have a record number of Exiled members with 153 on our membership.
Our thanks go to Syed Ali the club’s Community Cohesion Officer, who recently signed up a number of young supporters at a recent Kicks session.
