Friday night saw the Trust host the Race Night for the 5-a-side pitch appeal.
The last night saw an auction for a “Director for the Day” prize in which the winner would receive a tour of the stadium, matchday meal in the Boardroom, drinks at half time and full time and seats in the Directors Box. This raised £245 and was won by Rhiannon Ashworth.
A quick add up this morning suggests that we raised just short of £1,800 for the 5-a-side pitch on the evening. Thanks to everyone who turned up on the night, or helped contribute to that by purchasing owners or jockeys.
The winners on the night were:
Race 1 The JCA Chase
Trebor – Owner Bob Morrissey, Jockey Norman Smith
Race 2 Dale Community Trust Steeplechase
Big Man Uefa “B” – Owner Mark Pilling, Jockey Nick Johnson
Race 3 The Myson Pages Stakes
