The Trust held their first Matchball Sponsorship event on Saturday against Walsall and the Trust members chosen to be guests for the day were Steve Ashworth with guest Sam, Steve Jones accompanied by his wife Lyn, and the Wilkinson family group of Elaine, husband Neil, daughter Georgia and Elaine’s father Allan.
All enjoyed a terrific 3-course lunch, tickets and programmes for the game, and attendance at the post match presentations. The group chose Joe Rafferty as their Man of the Match, and he was presented with his award by Elaine who was also celebrating her birthday. the group were then presented with their plaque to commemorate the day, and all agreed that it was a most enjoyable day.
