The Trust Committee met on Wednesday evening as preparations continued for the 2017-18 season.
Much of the meeting was devoted to envelope stuffing, as a mail shot took place to all Trust members who have yet to renew for the new season. Membership is going well so far, and is well up on this time last year (though in fairness, the membership process started later last year).
The Trust is meeting with the club on Thursday, and up for discussion will be the Fans Forum, Junior Season Tickets, Trust Sponsorship at the club, the sponsored walk to Oldham, the Player of the Season evening and events planned for the new season.
As part of these discussions, we hope to announce on Thursday evening the Trust’s plans for the 2017-18 Exiles Day, and Matchball Sponsorships for next season.
Plans continued for the Trust’s Quiz Night that is being held at the Flying Horse next week. There will be a further aspect to the Quiz Night that will be announced over the weekend.
The Predictions Competition for 2017-18 has now been launched for the new season, and paper copies will be made available ahead of the Quiz Night.
We feel that we’ve identified a possible date for the return of the Curry / Chinese Night that used to be a regular feature of the Trust calendar. Possible venues will contacted in the next few days, and we hope to make an announcement before the season starts.
