The game against Scunthorpe represented the second of the three Dale Trust Match Ball Sponsorships this season. Our first was the game against Bury, with the right result – as was the game against Scunthorpe!!
The draw made to determine the lucky Trust members invited to share the day as guests resulted in Peter and Veronica Wilson, Avis Gilmore and her partner, Arthur Richardson, and Dave Crossley enjoying the pre-match meal in the Howarth Lounge, tickets and programmes for the match, and attending the post-match presentations, during which Veronica was chosen to receive, on behalf of the group, plaque to commemorate the event.
