The board met on Monday 2nd September to discuss various items, below is a brief report, further details will be released in due course.
Junior Dale
The Trust have been working with Football in the Community to promote the Junior Dale Saturday Club we are pleased to announce that numbers were up last home game and training tops are still available, we are also pleased to announce that on production of a valid Dale Trust membership card you can get £1 off. Trust Business
The Trust discussed our 10 year anniversary and also the launch of the Former Players Association, plans are being made for a joint event with further details to be announced.
Our sponsored walk to Accrington was discussed and we are still looking for more ‘walkers’ details can be found here. We can confirm the Trust will be arranging travel back to club after the match.
Our AGM is Thursday 10th October and will take place at 7.00pm in the main lounge at Spotland

Working with the Club
The Trust discussed various items on this point with further work to be undertaken and meetings to be had with the club, we will announce details / further information, if you have anything you want us to raise with the club please contact us here
Consultation Meeting
During this, further ideas as to what to do with the Bowlee fund were discussed, The Trust will now be investigating various options and will report back to members.
Match Ball Sponsorship
The Trust can confirm the following games form our Match Ball Sponsorship

Three times a season, The Trust will be match ball sponsors and will doa draw of it’s members to see which supporters represent the Trust. This involves match tickets and a pre match meal for 18 supporters drawn out over the course of the season. The winners for the Bury game have already been informed.
Player and Goal of the Month
August has drawn to a close, and with that, we want you to vote for your favourite player and goal for the month of August.
As always, voting is open to all supporters whether they be Trust members or not, but once all the votes have been cast, one voting Trust member will be drawn at random, and will make the presentation to the winning player. Not only that, they will walk away with that player’s shirt. The presentation will be made after the Torquay home fixture.

Community
We continue to maintain our close links with Rochdale Football in the Community Trust and Keith Hicks updated us regarding their work, they do far more than most of the Board initially thought and we are pleased they are our chosen charity for this season. We are raising money for football in the community through our sponsored walk to Accrington details above. You can find out more about Football in the Community here and here.

Fifa Night
The annual ‘Fifa Night’ will take place in late October, we will have further details nearer the time, there is lots of interest already with fans and players so keep a look out for more information.
