Trust newsletter
Assuming you are reading this and haven’t pressed delete already, then you will know that the Trust have launched a weekly newsletter as we look to increase communication between the Trust and its members. Our aim is to keep our members fully up to date with what we are doing, and if there’s anything you want further information on, we encourage you to get involved.
Friends of the Trust
Currently the Trust are reviewing their Friends of the Trust – these are local companies who offer discounts to Trust members on production of the membership card. If the organisation for whom you work could offer a discount to Trust members then please get in touch.The more benefits that we can offer our members, the stronger the Trust will become.
Twitter
The Trust are currently trying to boost its profile on Twitter with Trust committee member Martin Ashworth taking on the main responsibility for doing so. As part of this, a ‘Guess the Crowd’ competition has recently been launched. It’s completely free to take part, and all you have to do is tweet @DaleTrust with your attendance prediction and the nearest one wins.
Player of the Season
The Trust are currently working on the forthcoming Player of the Season evening. The event is being held as usual in the Ratcliffe Suite at Spotland on Saturday 27th April. Further details on this event will be announced in the next couple of weeks.
Dale v Gillingham
We’re back in action at Spotland on Tuesday night as the Gills come to Spotland. It’s their first visit since that Play Off final, and Dale will be keen to make it a double over the promote seeking team after the excellent win at their place earlier in the season. The club are running a 3 games for the price of 2 promotion. Further details here. Kick off is at 7:45, but if you can’t make it, there will be commentary of the game on Dale Player.
Dale in Exile
We will be hosting our annual Dale in Exile day at Spotland on Friday 29th April, when Aldershot come to town. More details in next week’s newsletter.
